About Us
Enrik Corporation Pty Ltd first began trading as Enrik Engineering Pty Ltd in 1987. A full time office was setup during that year, pursuant to obtaining a small client list from direct approaches to builders and developers. Within the first year of operation the professional staff comprised of 4 qualified Civil Engineers. The development of the company within the first two years was rapid, when considering its beginnings.The 1987 to 1989 period was one of rapid development in an environment where professional resources were scarce in the Melbourne market, due to the rate of development. The company was well placed to ride the 1989-1990 recession, as it was an expanding entity which was being run with lean overheads and although growth of the company had slowed it continued to actively chase customers. The company was carrying out approximately 500 to 800 engineering jobs per year during the recession years.The recession provided an opportunity in the market place where MacGregor Soil & Rock Engineering was placed up for sale. Andrew MacGregor was the founder of modern day soil testing techniques and had worked throughout Australia as a geotechnical engineer. During the purchase and negotiations, a relationship was developed between Andrew MacGregor and the directors of Enrik Corporation. In 2010 Rick Sciessere, cofounder of Enrik Engineering Pty Ltd, decided to diversify and commence a construction company, with Daniel Farchione joining Enio Sciessere as directors of Enrik Corporation Pty Ltd. Rick still remains as a consultant to the company. The combined business of Enrik Engineering and MacGregor Geotechnical now carry out approximately 4000 to 5000 engineering projects per annum. The 4000 to 5000 has been sustained since 1994.

Site InvestigationsSoil Testing remains the anchor business and always has allowed first contact with clients. The full range of soil testing is offered by the company and includes site investigations for housing, commercial, industrial, bridges, multi-storey etc. The company runs its own fleet of drill rigs which carry out all soil testing. All soil testing is carried out under the banner of MacGregor Geotechnical Pty Ltd.Structural DesignThe structural design section has steadily grown, especially over the last few years and is now generally on par with the soil testing business. The section carries out structural design of steel and concrete structures, housing foundation design and retaining wall design. Due to the strong tie with the geotechnical side of the company, a significant effort is employed in pile and unique foundation design. The capabilities of this section range from basic housing through to multi-storey apartment projects.Drainage & Pavement Design - Detention SystemsWith higher density housing projects continuing the requirement for specialist drainage designs to help current infrastructure cope with the increased demands is becoming greater. Enrik Corporation have the technology to provide all stormwater and detention system design requirements Remedial Testing & DesignAn area of particular interest to the former directors of MacGregor Soil, Andrew MacGregor and Rick Sciessere, has been remedial engineering. We have expertise in investigating cause of damage to building then recommending and designing remedial works, including underpinning, re-blocking, mud-jacking, grout injection techniques, structural rectification, etc. This area of interest now forms a section of our company and extends to building and pavement damage and materials testing.Building Consulting ServicesEnrik Corporation can arrange building permits and all property service information through its association with F1 Building Consulting.
